The ‘meek’ are those who ‘submit themselves purposefully to God’s standards of belief and behavior’ and who live gentle and quiet and non-threatening, non-disruptive lives.
And Jesus said that such people will wind up ‘inheriting the earth’.
The truth is that such people generally wind up inheriting anything that they are part of.
* The meek husband/wife submits to God’s standard of respect for spouse and harmony in the home and does not engage in fighting and quarrelling. His/her wife/husband really cannot find a bad thing to say about him/her. He/She is a delight to live with.
