Everything in the world – the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does — comes not from the Father but from the world (1 John 2:16).
1. In the beginning, man was put in charge of the earth and God was in charge of man.
2. Adam and Eve bought into the way of thinking — the ‘System of Thought’ — that was under Satan’s control.
3. ‘Worldly Thinking’ entered into God’s creation and whenever that ‘Thinking’ takes center stage, so does the evil one.
Until we understand that the world is under control of the evil one, we will forever wonder why unbelievers don’t act better.
